ENO claims it risks bankruptcy unless chorus is cut

In response to a letter to English National Opera’s (ENO’s) board signed by union Equity, the Musicians’ Union and BECTU, saying that the changes to the chorus’ working conditions would “seriously hamper” the company’s operations, ENO has said it faces “grave risk of bankruptcy”.
